
Today we are publishing the answers of NYT Spelling Bee February 23 2025 puzzle.
This Sunday’s spelling bee puzzle was built by Sam Ezersky. As always there are 7 letters and here the center letter is the letter I.
A C E are the letters on the bottom and L N P are the letters on the top which form the honeycomb shape. There are a total of 70 possible answers and we have listed them below sorted from the shortest (4 letters) length to the longest (10 letters):

This is at least the 3rd puzzle which accepts “ILIAC” but not the adjectival form “ILIAL” which is commonly used anatomically. Contrast this with the 2/24 puzzle which accepts “TALI” an obscure usage, plural of “TALUS”. I suggest that the use of scientific and medical terms be more consistent. Other examples: “ELUTE” was not accepted recently despite using the common “..LUTE” ending.
